THE FUTURE OF CLEANING IS WATERLESS


The project started with thorough consumer research conducted across several countries: India, China, UK, Italy and Brasil. The evidence showed that the primary users are women in domestic environments in the search of dirt removal and efficiency (ease of cleaning). The initial results made evident the need to improve the way we clean and buy the cleaning products, as they are an important part of the single-use plastic packaging discarded every day in our households.  Leading the research to question the future of household cleaning products and what will be important to shoppers and consumer in the next 20 years?

The team was immersed in the ideation process, sketches, mock-ups, prototypes and marketing inputs filled our minds in the search of alternative structural packaging forms, shapes, methods, formulas. Without forgetting the cornerstone of the project: women of all ages, and ho we could improve their cleaning experience through ergonomics, shapes, alternative delivery options and most importantly sustainability and refill systems.
